wagyu sirloin steak
Perfectly cooked steak is all about precision. Adjust the grilling time based on thickness, whether it’s Wagyu or your favorite cut, and enjoy a Japanese steakhouse experience at home.

Ingredients
1 serving
| 1 piece Wagyu beef (1 inch thick) |
| 1 tbsp olive oil |
| Salt, to taste |
| Black pepper, to taste |

Directions
- Set the temperature to 400°F. Season both sides of the steak with salt and pepper.
- Add olive oil to the heated plate and place the steak on top. Cook for 1 minute, flip, and cook the other side for 1 minute.
- Lightly press the sides of the steak against the plate, rotating as needed to brown all sides (1 minute total).
- Remove from heat and let the steak rest for 3 minutes.
- Return to the plate and cook for 60 seconds on each side.
To finish, sear for 45 seconds on each side. Turn off the heat, slice, and serve.
