MoonKettle

I usually try to start my day with a warm cup of water or tea, but as a self-proclaimed 'not a morning person,' I often drag myself to make it and force myself to drink it. Since I got the MoonKettle, however, everything has changed! I actually look forward to it every morning. It’s so pretty just sitting in my kitchen, and I enjoy admiring it. Adjusting the temperature is easy, and I love hearing the music when it turns on and the satisfying 'tick tick' sound as it starts heating up. By the time I hear the music signaling that the water has reached my desired temperature, I realize I’m in a much better mood than before!

The lettle is beautiful and the dial to change temp is smooth. The lighting is also calming and there are different sounds when its heating up. The only thing is i use this kettle for gongfu tea. I have to turn it on EVERY TIME and press the hold function. Would be nice if you can just set it to on and keep warm and it stay on until 30 minutes or so. Instead it turns off when you lift the kettle up. The dial also is in increments of 2 degrees which isn't much of an issue. But it would be nice if it were in increments of 1 like normal

We love everything about our new kettle! Water heats in a flash and a charming tune plays to let us know that it is ready. Light and sound confirm that it is working as it doesn’t make very much noise when heating water.

Its built in technology recognizes human behavior: automatic turnoff unless you activate the keep warm mode, a sturdy plug and clear lines in the kettle indicating minimum and maximum fill levels.

It’s also beautiful and sleek and looks great next to our Balmuda toaster oven. What a treat! We’d certainly buy this again.

Just received the Moon Kettle, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The design is stunning, sleek, minimal, and so elegant it feels like a piece of art on the countertop. But what really impressed me is how intentional every detail is. The precision pour, the comfortable handle, the smooth opening and closing, the sounds it makes, everything is engineered with care.

Beyond the aesthetics, the performance is outstanding. It heats quickly, and the experience of using it truly brings a sense of calm and simplicity to the routine. It’s not just a kettle, it’s a beautiful example of how thoughtful design can elevate everyday moments and feels like it belongs in a luxury suite.

My wife purchased this electric kettle. I think it's probably true that it is more efficient to boil water this way. However, as long as the functioning is more or less "automated", I'd prefer that it behave a bit differently than it does. Maybe all electric kettles work like this one does, I don't know.
If I press "hold", I expect it to hold the temperature until I dismiss it. Unfortunately, it turns off when I lift the kettle off the base, and it doesn't remember that I wanted it to be maintaining my hot water. To make the morning drink for wifey and me, takes perhaps 5 pours over roughly 3 minutes. I have to reset the temperature and listen to the "cute" sounds for each time I pour. [ok, I successfully turned the sounds off!]
It is true that in order to maintain the water temperature with our old kettle, you had to turn the gas back on. But, this is supposed to be better than that, right? I'm not just grousing, I want Balmuda to get this feedback and make it better.
