Apple and Cream Cheese Toast

An exquisite blend of textures and tastes, from crunchy toast and tart, tender apple to rich, smooth cream cheese.

Serves 2

Fruit and nut bread 2 slices
Cream cheese 2 tbsp
Apple 1/4
Sugar 1 tbsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Cinnamon To taste
Butter To taste
Walnuts To taste
Maple syrup To taste

*Recommended thickness of the bread: about 1/2 inch [1.5 cm] thick.  

Recipe

Cooking time: 20 minutes 

  • Cut the apple into thin slices. Combine with the sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Set aside for 5 minutes.
  • Spread the cream cheese on the bread. Arrange the apple slices on top.
  • Scatter pieces of butter and finely chopped walnuts on top of [2] and toast. (Pizza Mode: 4-6 min.)
  • Transfer to a plate. Drizzle with maple syrup.
