Apple and Cream Cheese Toast
An exquisite blend of textures and tastes, from crunchy toast and tart, tender apple to rich, smooth cream cheese.
|Fruit and nut bread||2 slices|
|Cream cheese||2 tbsp|
|Lemon juice||1 tbsp|
|Maple syrup||To taste|
*Recommended thickness of the bread: about 1/2 inch [1.5 cm] thick.
Cooking time: 20 minutes
- Cut the apple into thin slices. Combine with the sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Set aside for 5 minutes.
- Spread the cream cheese on the bread. Arrange the apple slices on top.
- Scatter pieces of butter and finely chopped walnuts on top of  and toast. (Pizza Mode: 4-6 min.)
- Transfer to a plate. Drizzle with maple syrup.
